WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DOCUMENTARY WEDDING FILM AND AN EDITORIAL WEDDING PRODUCTION?

A documentary wedding film captures the day as it unfolds, with authencity and spontaneity. We focus on genuine emotions, natural interactions, and the significant details that make your story unique.
In contrast, an editorial wedding production follows a pre-established script, with posed shots and recreated moments for a specific aesthetic. Our experience as documentarians allows us to anticipate key moments and be in the right place at the precise instant. The difference lies in how these moments are captured: organically and without interfering with their natural development. We seek the emotional truth of every moment.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT OUR APPROACH SEEKS NATURALNESS AND SPONTANEITY?

As documentarians, our priority is to capture the relationships, bonds, and genuine emotions that naturally emerge between you, your family, and friends during the wedding. Our goal is to create an authentic and meaningful memory of your day, exactly as it happened. To achieve this, we do not conduct posed couple sessions, either before or during the wedding.
We respect the spontaneity of each moment, without interrupting or asking protagonists to perform actions. Everything we film happens organically, without poses or our intervention. We will never ask the couple to walk towards the camera or perform any similar action for the recording.

We are Nico and Fernanda, an exclusive and closed team of documentarians. When you choose us, you are guaranteed that it will be the two of us who capture every moment of your day.

WHAT TYPE OF CAMERAS DO WE USE, AND HOW DOES IT AFFECT THE FINAL RESULT?

We primarily work with Sony FX3 cameras, considered among the best on the market, equipped with Sony GM lenses. Their cinematic quality and exceptional performance in diverse lighting conditions allow us to achieve a rich and detailed visual aesthetic, with a depth of field that enhances the beauty of each scene.
Furthermore, our trajectory and professionalism are recognized and endorsed by Sony Spain, which strengthens our experience and trust in the sector.

HOW DO WE WORK WITH SOUND IN A DOCUMENTARY WEDDING FILM?

Sound is fundamental in cinematic narrative. We are experts in sound post-production, using professional audio equipment to capture crisp dialogues, ambient atmosphere, and detailed sounds that enrich the visual experience.
Our approach aims to transport the viewer back to the emotion of the moment.

WHAT IS THE EDITING PROCESS FOR A DOCUMENTARY WEDDING FILM LIKE?

We are editing experts. Editing is where the story takes shape in an anachronistic manner, building a narrative structure similar to that of a feature film. We apply principles of visual storytelling and editing theory to create a coherent and emotional narrative from the recorded material.
We seek a rhythm that reflects the intensity of the emotions experienced, with a cinematic aesthetic meticulously crafted in every detail of the color grading, where we are also specialists. It’s important to highlight that our editing vision begins even before filming; we plan each shot and sequence knowing how it will fit into the final narrative.

ARE DRONE FLIGHTS INCLUDED? ARE THEY SAFE AND LEGAL?

Yes, we are certified pilots, and drone flights are included in our proposal.
We hold all the necessary permits and authorizations to ensure that every flight is conducted legally and safely, even in areas near airports, protected environmental zones, and historic centers.
We fully manage these permits ourselves, and we are the ones who pilot the drones, guaranteeing unique and cinematic perspectives of your day with full regulatory compliance.

WHAT IS OUR PROPOSAL FOR COVERING YOUR WEDDING? DO WE WORK WITH HOURLY PACKAGES OR CHARGE EXTRAS?

Our proposal is comprehensive and designed to capture the entirety of your wedding day, from the initial preparations to the final celebration.
We do not believe in limiting coverage with hourly packages or applying additional costs.
For us, every wedding is a unique experience that deserves to be told in its entirety, without you having to worry about missing any significant moments.
Our passion as documentarians leads us to travel the world to narrate these authentic and cinematic love stories.

DO WE FILM WEDDINGS OUTSIDE MALLORCA? HOW DO TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS WORK?

While our studio is based in Mallorca, we work at weddings around the world. We’ve had the opportunity to document stories in Argentina, the United States, Colombia, France, and other fascinating destinations.
The logistical details of travel and accommodation are integrated into our budget, without generating additional costs for you.
If your wedding is taking place outside Mallorca, we would be delighted to hear the details and be part of your celebration.
